Each of you is unique. We all have a complex combination of belief system, personality, genetic predisposition, upbringing and learned behaviour that dictates how we live our life and respond to our experiences.
Sometimes life doesn't seem to be working for us or we feel in some way limited or unable to enjoy our lives fully. Sometimes we feel downright frustrated, angry, low or upset. These emotions inhibit our ability to achieve our potential and be who we are designed to be.
I use one, or a combination of, therapies as tools to help you to flourish and fully embrace your life again. Your therapy is as individual as you are and tailor made to meet your needs.
Therapy is designed to treat literally all aspects of psychological and emotional discomfort and to list all symptoms that can be successfully treated would be impossible.
Some of the most common symptoms, however, are:-
Loss of confidence or self esteem
Loss of focus or motivation
Fears and Phobias
Therapy is also useful for those whose life is working well but would like it to be even better. Better performance at work or in some sporting field. Better personal relationships. More self control. More fun even.
If you have any questions about how I can help you to bring more to your life please call to make an appointment for a free, no obligation initial consultation.
I'm here to help you.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

When things became too much to handle in my life recently, I knew that it was time to seek professional help. I was self-funding, and it was important to me that very specific problems I had were dealt with, so I was highly selective in my approach.
When researching therapists, lots of results came up in a search. I phoned one therapist, who was very arrogant and spoke at me rather than to me, about what qualifications he had, I knew he wouldn't be right for me…I needed someone who would listen to what my problem was- someone who was going to make me feel comfortable and share my vision of overcoming my problems. I then came across Christine Herve's website and decided to give her a call. As soon as we spoke, I felt comfortable, relaxed and I knew I was in good hands. She was professional and I could talk to her easily- she was very time giving during that call.
Christine was far from aggressive about money, or of trying to justify her price- like the therapist I had spoken to prior. This told me that she truly believes in her value and that she did not need to spend her time justifying her price to me as a result. Whilst it is her profession, discussing money seemed secondary to the importance of finding out about me and my problem. She wanted to learn more about it so that she could tell whether she was the right person to help me overcome it, or whether she may have other suggestions. She is a very honest practitioner.
I saw on Christine's website that she covers a number of different approaches in therapy, and I specifically requested a particular one. She explained that to get the best out of me, she would employ a number of different strategies with me across the session- she explained that it wasn't a 'one size fits all' approach. This made me see just how focussed she would be to me as an individual client.
When I began having my consultations with Christine, everything about it felt right. In terms of the environment, she provides stylish, comfortable and clean surroundings in a safe place. As a person, she is nice to be around, and as a therapist, she listens very accurately, picking up on things you've said- which you may not even have been aware of. You'll then make sense of them together. These insights help to open your mind and help you to create a new perspective which in turn, creates a step towards self-healing.
I will always be thankful to Christine for her work with me. She encouraged me to expand my thinking, through self-exploration, and through ideas that I could take home with me to think about and apply between sessions. She helped me to understand who I am more fully- I started looking at myself, my relationships, and my problem from a new perspective. I have been entirely enabled through Christine and I feel like I have had my eyes opened. I feel that my problem has now been resolved thanks to her help- her advice continues to last beyond the sessions I had and I continue to help myself every day, from the knowledge of the work we did together.
I know that I will continue to see Christine in the future because of the effective and positive changes she has brought to my life. Christine was worth every penny I spent. I see my time with her as invaluable and by investing in myself like this, her services were one of the best and long-lasting investments I've made in a long time.
